Sit back and earn until the pool ends # Metamask Installation ### Installing and setting up MetaMask MetaMask can be downloaded on Chrome and Firefox, or on iOS and Android if you’re a mobile user. For the purposes of this tutorial, we’ll use the Firefox version, but the instructions will be more or less the same for every platform. Firstly, you’ll want to head over to the MetaMask [Download page](https://metamask.io/download.html). From there, select whichever platform you’re using, and follow the steps to install it on your device. Easy!Next, follow along with the setup specified by the app. Go ahead and click Create a Wallet. Write down the backup [seed phrase](https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/seed-phrase) somewhere secret (preferably not on an Internet-connected device). Without this phrase, your funds can’t be recovered if your device is damaged or lost. Confirm that you’ve written them down on the next page. And that’s it! At worst, **you could lose funds by sending them to addresses you can’t actually use**. Let’s change that. When you stake in a farm or a pool there will be a pre-determined harvest lockup set for each pool. It means if you stake now harvest button will be unlocked after 8hrs for CROX pool/farm and after 12hrs for non-CROX pools/farms. **Can I Unstake anytime?** Yes. You can Unstake your Staked LP tokens or single tokens anytime regardless of harvest locks. There is no locking period for Staked tokens. Only rewards fall under harvest locking period. However, if you unstake before the harvest button is activated, your earned rewards are still in the pool until harvest lockup time is completed. *Happy Staking...!!!* # Earn Other Tokens Stake CROX and Earn Other Tokens **How are these staking pools different from existing pools?**\ In Next-Gen staking pools CROX token will have a new use-case where you Stake CROX and Earn a new token. For example: Stake CROX , Earn BUSD. **How do these pools work?**\ These reward pools are called through a smart contract method. Partnered project funds the contract with necessary rewards before the pools are live. Once you stake in those pools you will start earning rewards. Initially we will introduce single token staking where you Stake CROX and earn XYZ token.
